Teacher of English (Aylesford School)

Aylesford School is on a journey of improvement and needs talented and dedicated teachers who are committed to supporting a community of students who deserve better. If you want to work in an energetic team that is committed to the challenge, then this is the school for you. The students are great and need teachers who can give them the confidence they need to be successful. Aylesford School is currently in the process of joining a newly formed academy trust with Wrotham School.

Aylesford School is forming a MAT with Wrotham School which is a highly successful comprehensive and non-selective school near Sevenoaks, Kent. As a Trust we can offer successful candidates the opportunity to train as a Specialist Leader in Education; work directly with exam boards; work with a Pixl Associate and Pixl Subject Expert based at our schools; engage in collaborative planning; work with the full ability range in a comprehensive setting; progression routes into school leadership across the academy trust; work in a partnership of equals.

As a Trust we have a moral purpose. We believe in giving opportunity and life chances to all children, including those who often face huge barriers to success. This requires stakeholders to be collectively responsible for all students. We believe that the job of good leaders is to create more leaders

Please visit the Wrotham website at www.wrothamschool.com. The Aylesford School website is currently being redesigned, but you can visit the legacy site at www.aylesford.kent.sch.uk.
