We are seeking an excellent KS2 teacher to join our enthusiastic and committed staff in September, covering for maternity leave.  The position is full time but there is the possibility of 0.86 FTE.

 

Applications from NQT's and experienced teachers are welcome.  We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, caring, committed to excellence and the development of their own teaching practice.  The successful candidate must have high expectations of themselves and for the pupils, be a good team player who responds positively to support and advice and wants to make a difference to the lives of our children.

 

We have a supportive team of experienced teachers, enthusiastic and well behaved children who are eager to learn in our well-resourced school.  Support and guidance is available to allow you to develop in all areas of the profession.  An experienced mentor will be provided if you are an NQT.

 

The school federated with Bodsham Primary School in November 2009 which has strengthened staff professional development and widened the opportunity to share good practice and resources.

 

Our school and all its personnel are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children.  The successful candidate will need to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure via the Disclosure and Barring Service and will be subject to qualification and reference checks.

Saltwood Play and Learning Centre is a registered charity with a team of up to 15 staff operating from the grounds of Saltwood School and offering childcare for nursery and school age children during term time.
