Due to staff relocation to pastures new, both here and abroad, we are looking to appoint two teachers to our team at The Downs for September 2017.

We operate across the school in three teams: lower (R and 1), middle (2, 3 and 4) and upper (5 and 6). As there may be some flexibility with the positions, an indication of your preferred age range on your application would be appreciated.

You will be:

bright, enthusiastic and lively with an aptitude for providing a stimulating learning environment

willing to work as part of a team (we are two form entry and so you will need to be able to work with your parallel class teacher)

highly effective practitioner

passionate about teaching; - creative, inspiring and dedicated to ensuring children meet their full potential and make excellent progress

About us:

The Downs CEP School is located in Kent in the UK. We have wonderful children and a fantastic team of staff who all work together to try and make learning fun!

We are very lucky to have lots of fantastic facilities for our children, including a large field with some great playing equipment, a wonderful library which is jam-packed with books for everyone to enjoy.

In April 2019, The Downs CEP School became a founding member of the Deal Education Learning Alliance Trust (DEALT) which is a MAT comprised of eight local primary schools within Deal and the surrounding villages. This unique and exciting collaboration of local schools work together to ensure the very best outcomes for all pupils and their families within our town.
