We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and dedicated person to join our friendly, welcoming team.

 

Start Date: September 2026

Salary Scale: KSB

Full Time - 37 hours per week 26 days holiday +  the bank holidays (the expectation is that this is to be taken during the school holidays)

Mon – Thurs 6am -1:30pm

Fri – 6am -1pm

 

You will be working under the direction of our very experienced Site Manager to maintain our lovely school and to provide an efficient professional service that supports the learning of all of our pupils and provides a safe, clean environment for our staff, parents and visitors. 

 

A willingness to become involved with other areas of school life would be welcomed too. 

 

You will be our desirable candidate if:

  • You have experience in the building and maintenance trades
  • You have experience of working in a school environment although this is not essential
  • You enjoy working in a friendly team with like-minded people
  • You have a positive sense of humour and attitude
  • You are a clear communicator with adults and children
  • You are a positive role model to all

Holy Trinity St. John’s CEP School is a large primary school serving the central area of the coastal town of Margate. Current number on role is 400 children aged between 4 – 11 years.
