Admissions & Office Administrator

Full Time | All Year Round
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Life Skills Enterprise is a growing independent specialist school supporting young people with Autism, SEMH and associated learning needs. We are seeking an organised, professional and compassionate Admissions & Office Administrator to join our dedicated team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who enjoys working with people and wants to make a real difference to the lives of children and families. As the first point of contact for prospective families, visitors and professionals, you will play a vital role in ensuring every interaction with the school is welcoming, supportive and professional.

You will manage the admissions journey from initial enquiry through to enrolment, working closely with the Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher, Local Authorities and external professionals. Alongside this, you will provide high-quality administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team and help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the school office.

The successful candidate will have excellent organisational and communication skills, experience within an administrative environment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities whilst maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. Experience within education or a SEND setting, together with an understanding of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), would be advantageous but is not essential.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has excellent administration and customer service skills.
  • Can build positive relationships with parents, professionals and colleagues.
  • Is highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Has strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Can work independently whilst contributing positively to a team.
  • Shares our commitment to providing the very best support for children and young people with additional needs.

In return, we offer:

  • A supportive, welcoming and collaborative staff team.
  • Ongoing professional development and training.
  • Employee wellbeing support.
  • The opportunity to contribute to a growing specialist school where every role has a meaningful impact.
  • A rewarding career supporting children, young people and their families.

Visits to the school are warmly welcomed and encouraged. If you would like to arrange a visit prior to applying, please contact our Human Resources team.

Life Skills Enterprise is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful applicant will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check, online searches, satisfactory references and all pre-employment checks in accordance with Keeping Children Safe in Education.

If you are passionate about delivering excellent customer service and want to be part of a school that puts children and families at the heart of everything it does, we would love to hear from you.
