NCPS is looking for an exceptional middle leader to lead our Reception team.  We educate and care for over 650 wonderful children from a range of backgrounds. We want the best for every single one of them, however when recruiting, we are particularly thinking about our most vulnerable children- the children for whom an amazing teacher can make the difference in their life chances. 

As the Head of Reception, you will be responsible for supporting and advising the teachers in your team, maintaining high standards and ensuring the best possible provision for our youngest children. You will be able to model best practice through your own teaching and be commited to driving provision forward through thoughtful collaboration and research informed decision making. Experience of working with data to improve outcomes is desireable.  You will work in partnership with SLT to oversee transition in to school, liaising with other partnership agencies as required.

Newington Community Primary School and Nursery is a large primary school which is situated on the outskirts of Ramsgate. In July 2024, Newington joined the Coastal Academies Trust, working alongside other schools to benefit all of our children across Thanet.
