Are you a practical, proactive individual who takes pride in maintaining safe and welcoming environments? Whether you're an experienced Site Supervisor, Caretaker or Facilities professional, or looking to develop your skills within a school setting, we'd love to hear from you.

Barnsole Primary School is seeking a committed Site Supervisor to help ensure our school remains safe, secure and well-maintained for pupils, staff and visitors.

Working closely with the Regional Estates Manager and school team, you will support the day-to-day operation of the site, helping to create an environment where children can learn, grow and succeed.

Key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out minor repairs, maintenance and general site upkeep
• Supporting grounds maintenance and site presentation
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements
• Conducting routine inspections and reporting maintenance issues
• Liaising with contractors and supporting external works
• Assisting with room setups for school events and activities
• Supporting the safe and efficient operation of the school site

Who You Are

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience in site management, caretaking, facilities or building maintenance
• Has a good understanding of health and safety requirements
• Is practical, organised and able to work independently
• Takes pride in maintaining high standards across buildings and grounds
• Can identify and resolve issues proactively
• Has strong communication skills and works well with others
• Is flexible and willing to undertake a variety of tasks
• Is IT literate and confident using Microsoft and Google systems
• Has experience of CAFM systems or is willing to learn
