Are you passionate about working with children and looking to start your career in education? Stocks Green Primary School (Tonbridge, TN11) is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Apprentice Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team.

As an Apprentice Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for our 218 pupils. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support teachers in the delivery of lessons and classroom activities
  • Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning
  • Assist with classroom management and organisation
  • Help to create a safe and nurturing environment for all pupils
  • Support lunchtime cover and OPAL Play

Stocks Green Primary School is a popular one form entry primary school, located in the village of Hildenborough, and has successfully served local families and community for the past 52 years. In May of this year, the school retained its Ofsted grading of ‘Good’ following an ungraded inspection. The report recognised that both parents and governors are exceptionally supportive of the school and it is a happy place to learn and work.
