The start date is flexible and will be agreed with the successful applicant, with the potential for an early appointment.

We are looking for a qualified teacher with strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and Science, who is able to inspire and engage students across Key Stages 3–5. The successful candidate will have the energy, creativity, and commitment to deliver high-quality teaching that fosters curiosity, resilience, and a love of learning in both subjects.

You will be confident in planning and delivering well-structured, engaging lessons in Maths and Science, assessing student progress effectively, and contributing to a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment. The ability to make both subjects relevant to real-life contexts and future careers is essential.

As part of our collaborative and forward-thinking departments, you will contribute to the ongoing development of both Maths and Science, sharing best practice and supporting innovative approaches to teaching and learning. We are committed to high standards and continuous improvement, and we welcome applicants who are reflective, adaptable, and eager to develop professionally.

You will also be expected to contribute to enrichment opportunities, which may include STEM activities, science clubs, maths challenges, trips, and competitions, helping to extend students’ learning beyond the classroom and promote enthusiasm for both disciplines.

We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers who are passionate about education and committed to the success and wellbeing of every student. As part of a Trust with strong links to the University of Kent, we offer excellent professional development and opportunities for collaboration.
