Advert

Wouldham All Saints Church of England Primary School is delighted to invite applications for an enthusiastic, ambitious and highly effective full-time Key Stage 2 teacher to join our dedicated and supportive team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving school community where high expectations, innovation and care sit at the heart of everything we do. We are particularly seeking a teacher with a passion for Upper Key Stage 2, someone who can inspire, challenge and nurture pupils as they prepare for the next stage of their educational journey.

At Wouldham All Saints, we are passionate about high-quality teaching and active learning. We believe children learn best when they are fully immersed, engaged and actively involved in their learning experiences. Across Key Stage 2, our wider curriculum is driven by our “hands on, sheets off” philosophy - placing practical exploration, enquiry, discussion and memorable experiences at the centre of learning, rather than over-reliance on PowerPoints and worksheets. Our extensive classroom resources and exceptional outdoor learning environments are used purposefully to enrich teaching, deepen understanding and foster curiosity, independence and creativity.

Collaboration is a real strength of our school. Staff plan together, share best practice and work as a cohesive team to design rich and meaningful learning opportunities for pupils. We are committed to ensuring teacher workload is manageable and purposeful; through the use of floor books, pupil conferencing and responsive assessment approaches, we reduce unnecessary marking while gaining deeper insight into children’s learning, voice and progress.

As a Church of England school, our Christian vision underpins all we do. Inspired by the Fruit of the Spirit, we are committed to developing children academically, socially and spiritually - nurturing character, compassion, resilience and moral purpose alongside strong outcomes.

We are looking for a teacher who is committed to excellence in the classroom, values teamwork, embraces innovation and shares our belief that learning should be active, meaningful and memorable.

Joining Wouldham All Saints means becoming part of a warm, forward-thinking and highly supportive staff team where wellbeing, professional growth and collaboration are genuinely valued.

If you have the passion, creativity and ambition to make a real difference in Upper Key Stage 2, we would be delighted to hear from you.

Wouldham All Saints Church of England Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. The successful applicant will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references and relevant pre-employment checks. We are proud to be an equal opportunities employer.
