Wouldham All Saints Church of England Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring, ambitious and team-oriented teacher to join our dedicated staff team. This is an exciting full-time opportunity in Key Stage 1, initially covering maternity leave, with genuine potential for the role to become permanent.

For the right candidate, there is also the opportunity to take on a Middle Leadership role, supporting our four KS1 classes, helping shape curriculum development, championing high-quality teaching and learning, and contributing to the wider leadership team. Middle leaders benefit from weekly release time to fulfil leadership responsibilities, alongside a TLR payment.

At Wouldham All Saints, we are passionate about creating inspiring learning experiences where every child can flourish academically, socially and emotionally. Our KS1 approach is rooted in high-quality continuous provision, building on Early Years foundations and extending opportunities for purposeful exploration, independence, enquiry and creativity. We believe children thrive when immersed in meaningful, engaging experiences that develop both core knowledge and wider skills.

Our exceptional facilities, including rich outdoor learning environments and Forest School, are integral to our curriculum, enabling children to explore, problem-solve and apply learning beyond the classroom.

We are looking for a teacher who understands the importance of playful, purposeful and carefully designed provision in KS1, is excited by innovative curriculum design, and can nurture children’s curiosity while securing strong progress. We particularly welcome applicants with leadership ambition, creativity and fresh ideas who are eager to shape practice beyond their own classroom.

As a Church of England school, our Christian vision underpins everything we do. Inspired by the Fruit of the Spirit, we are committed to values-led education that nurtures academic success, character, spirituality, compassion and moral purpose. We seek colleagues who will embrace our inclusive Christian ethos.

Joining Wouldham All Saints means becoming part of a warm, supportive and collaborative team where professional growth and staff wellbeing are highly valued. Whether early in your career or ready for leadership, we are committed to helping colleagues flourish.

If you have the skills, enthusiasm and commitment to contribute to our vibrant school community, we warmly encourage you to apply.

Wouldham All Saints Church of England Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. The successful applicant will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references and relevant pre-employment checks. We are proud to be an equal opportunities employer.
