Orchards Academy in Swanley is seeking a visionary Teacher of Design & Technology to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4. 

Reporting directly to the Senior Leadership Team, you will deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons that foster a love for innovation while ensuring outstanding progress for all learners, including those with SEND. The ideal candidate will hold QTS and a degree in Design & Technology or a related subject, backed by a proven track record of high student achievement at GCSE or BTEC. You must possess deep, up-to-date knowledge of the national curriculum and the ability to utilize specialist DT equipment and technology effectively for both composition and performance. We are looking for a resilient, enthusiastic professional with exceptional classroom management skills and a genuine passion for DT education. Beyond technical expertise, your strong communication skills will be vital for engaging with students, parents, and staff as you maintain high academic expectations and a steadfast commitment to the safety and well-being of every pupil.
