We invite both internal and external applicants to apply for this HLTA position to join our dynamic team at Primary School. 

In this role you will play a vital role in ensuring continuity and quality of education during teachers’ release time and during unforeseen absences. You will support the delivery of our innovative educational vision, contributing to personalised learning and fostering an inclusive environment that empowers every pupil. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide cover for classes, delivering lessons based on plans provided by class teachers. 
  • Adapt teaching approaches to meet the diverse needs of pupils, ensuring engagement and progress. 
  • Maintain a positive and safe classroom environment conducive to effective learning. 
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to support pupil development, sharing feedback on progress. 
  • Promote the Trust's vision of equipping pupils with essential cognitive and social-emotional skills. 

We are on the lookout for a passionate and dynamic individual who is ready to make a real impact in our classrooms!  

You should be: 

  • Experienced in Areas That Count: 

Significant experience in a primary school setting, with a track record of effectively teaching or supporting pupil learning. Your hands-on experience will be invaluable! 

  • A Classroom Dynamo: 

Strong classroom management skills that create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment where every pupil feels valued and motivated to succeed. 

  • A Communication Champion: 

Outstanding communication skills that allow you to connect with pupils and collaborate seamlessly with staff, fostering a team spirit that enhances pupil development. 

  • An Inclusive Advocate: 

A commitment to promoting inclusion and ensuring equitable learning opportunities for all pupils, especially those with diverse needs. Your dedication will help us break down barriers to achievement! 

  • Growth Mindset: 

A proactive attitude towards ongoing training and professional development. You should be eager to learn, innovate, and embrace new challenges that enhance your teaching practice.
