Sports, Leisure and Facilities Assistant

Knole Academy in Sevenoaks is looking for a full time qualified and enthusiastic sport and leisure assistant to work in our gym and support sports lettings.  Support and training for a Level 2 qualification can also be offered to suitable applicants.

Salary AAT Grade C, £26,956 - £27,765 pro-rated to £21,856 - £22,512 for 30 hours per week all year round.

Duties will include providing gym inductions, general caretaking duties, ensuring relevant facilities are clean and safe, setting up equipment and making bookings.  Applicants must be highly organised, have a flexible working attitude and be able to work 5 days between Monday and Sunday 4:30 pm to 10:30 pm (between 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at the weekends).

Introduction to Knole Academy

Knole Academy has a capacity for 1550 students aged 11-19. We are an all ability co-educational school with a grammar stream which has developed exponentially over the last few years. We foster an engaging learning ethos, using state-of-the-art technologies to develop new skills and create high aspirations. We deliver the IB Curriculum within our popular Sixth Form and offer a wide variety of extra curricular activities such as CCF (Combined Cadet Force) and Duke of Edinburgh Awards, dance and PE fixtures. Our Pastoral department is very supportive offering three in house Counsellors, well being dogs and friendly staff.
