Class Teacher (Early Career Teachers Welcome)
Full-time | Fixed Term (1 year initially)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an innovative, enthusiastic and highly motivated teacher to join our wonderful staff team at St Peter’s Church of England Primary School from September 2026.

This post is offered on a full-time, one-year fixed term basis, and applications are warmly welcomed from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) as well as more experienced practitioners.

St Peter’s CE Primary School is a happy, successful and oversubscribed one-form entry school with 210 children on roll. Nestled in the picturesque Hawkenbury Village area of Tunbridge Wells, our school enjoys a peaceful setting with far-reaching views, yet remains within walking distance of the town centre. Most of our pupils live locally and walk to school from the surrounding roads, contributing to our strong sense of community. We have parking on site for staff and value ourselves in providing opportunities for staff development.

Our beautiful site includes a forest school, a large field, a multi-use games area, and a stunning new school building completed in 2021. These facilities support a rich and varied curriculum and provide an inspiring environment for learning and play.
