Grow 19 is a SEND College for learners aged 18-25 who have an Educational Health Care Plan. From September Grow 19 will be opening our new Branch 16 which will deliver vocational learning to learners aged 16-18. Our learners have a range of learning difficulties, autism, speech, language and communication needs. We offer vocational and living skills programmes, supporting learners to be ready for work, supported employment, independent living or community involvement.

We aim to give all learners opportunities to discover new ways, new skills and knowledge that engage them, develop them and will lead to them being exceptionally well prepared for their next steps and a positive, meaningful future.

 Grow 19 is recruiting a full-time tutor to join our dedicated team as we look to launch our Branch 16 pathway. The position will be based full time in Maidstone, and we can offer onsite free parking. The tutor will be responsible for a small group of learners who will completing a programme that develops their life and living skills and increases their independence, along with building and sustaining community links locally.

Successful candidates will either be experienced tutors who have previously worked in the FE sector or have a passion to work with young adults and support their onwards pathways. Grow 19/Branch 16 is looking to recruit a tutor who enjoys team working and taking responsibility. Grow 19/Branch 16 always puts the learners at the heart of everything and ensure that their independence is paramount. Candidates will also be flexible to lead learning across a variety of vocational subjects and Functional skills lessons. Candidates must also have a strong commitment to inclusive principles and be committed to safeguarding.
