St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School is seeking a committed, enthusiastic and compassionate HLTA to lead our SEN Room provision. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of children with additional needs within a nurturing, supportive school community.
 
The role involves leading an alternative provision classroom, supporting a small group of pupils with EHCPs. You will work under the direction of the class teacher and the SENCO, ensuring that provision is tailored to meet each child’s individual needs.

We are seeking someone who is fully committed to the school and to the learning and wellbeing of our pupils. A proactive approach, a willingness to develop practice, and a drive for continuous improvement are essential as we work collaboratively as a team.       We are looking for a colleague who:

  • Has experience supporting pupils with autism, communication needs and SEMH.
  • Is passionate about pupil and staff wellbeing.
  • Is a flexible, creative team player.
  • Builds positive relationships and communicates effectively.
  • Is committed to meeting the individual needs of every child.

The successful candidate will have strong Maths and English skills, and while a HLTA qualification is desirable, it is not essential.
