About the Role

As Head of Music, you will:

  • Lead and develop a high-quality, engaging music curriculum across all key stages
  • Inspire students of all abilities through innovative teaching and outstanding classroom practice
  • Build and sustain a rich programme of extracurricular music, including ensembles, concerts, and performances
  • Manage and support the development of the music department, including resources and staff
  • Foster strong links with the wider community, including partnerships and performance opportunities

  • Is a passionate and skilled music educator with a strong subject knowledge
  • Has the leadership qualities to motivate staff and students alike
