Are you highly organised, people‑focused, and passionate about supporting inclusive education?
We are looking for a proactive and committed SEND / Inclusion Administrative Officer to play a key role in ensuring our pupils with additional needs receive the best possible support.

About the Role

As our Inclusion Administrative Officer, you will be the backbone of our SEND operations—keeping systems running smoothly, ensuring statutory deadlines are met, and helping the school maintain outstanding support for pupils with diverse needs.

You will work closely with the Deputy Headteacher and Inclusion Team to coordinate SEND processes, manage essential documentation, liaise with parents and external agencies, and contribute to the smooth running of our provision.

If you love organisation, thrive in a busy school environment, and want to make a real difference, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

  • Maintain and manage SEND records, databases, provision maps and statutory documentation
  • Track pupil support, interventions and progress data for reporting and inspections
  • Prepare and oversee documentation for EHCP applications, referrals and Annual Reviews
  • Coordinate SEND timetables, 1:1 rotas, intervention schedules and meetings
  • Arrange, attend and minute meetings, circulating required documentation
  • Be a professional and supportive point of contact for staff, parents and external agencies
  • Contribute to general office operations and support SEND resource organisation
  • Uphold our values, safeguarding responsibilities, and inclusive ethos

We’re Looking for Someone Who…

  • Has excellent administrative, organisational and IT skills
  • Communicates clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
  • Can work independently, manage their own workload and adapt to changing priorities
  • Builds strong relationships with pupils, families, staff and external partners
  • Handles confidential and sensitive information with integrity
  • Is committed to equality, inclusion and safeguarding
  • Has Level 2 English & Maths and a Level 3 qualification in a relevant field

Experience in a school setting or SEND environment is desirable but not essential—your mindset, professionalism and commitment are what matter most.

What We Offer

  • A warm, supportive and forward‑thinking school community
  • Opportunities for professional development and training
  • The chance to make a meaningful difference to children’s lives every day
  • A role where no two days are the same—and your contribution truly matters

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
