Advert

Sturry CE Primary School is growing and we have a vacancy for Teaching Assistants. This is an integral role supporting the class teacher,  individuals and small groups of children.

The ideal candidates will be hard-working, flexible and adaptable, with good literacy and numeracy skills. Previous experience of working with children with educational needs is desirable but above all, we would like someone with a calm and positive approach to work with children at varying levels including those with special educational needs. We are fully committed to ensuring that all pupils within our schools are integrated as fully as possible and that they all feel as highly valued as each other.

This can be a challenging position, but equally very rewarding. The successful applicant will be joining a well-established and forward-thinking team of professionals, supported by the wider Trust

We strive to be diverse and inclusive and a place where we can all be ourselves. As a Trust we are committed to improving our way of working to be more inclusive and equal. We believe inclusion for our children starts with inclusion for our adults. We believe we’ll do better by our children if our staff come from different backgrounds and we create an environment of inclusion and belonging for all.
