Featherby Partnership School is seeking a friendly, organised and motivated Business Administration Apprentice to join our welcoming school office team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience while completing a Level 3 qualification, developing valuable skills that will support your future career.

About the Role

As part of our administration team, you will be the first point of contact for pupils, parents, visitors and staff — playing a key role in creating a positive and professional front-of-house experience.

This is a varied and engaging role where you will:

  • Provide a warm, professional welcome to all visitors and callers

  • Handle enquiries in person, by phone and via email

  • Support the day-to-day running of the school office

  • Assist with a wide range of administrative tasks across the school

  • Maintain accurate records and handle confidential information appropriately

  • Work collaboratively as part of a supportive and busy admin team

You’ll gain valuable experience in a real working environment while developing confidence, organisation and communication skills.

Who You Are

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Friendly, approachable and professional

  • Organised and able to manage their time effectively

  • Confident communicating with a range of people

  • Calm and able to multitask in a busy environment

  • A strong team player with a positive attitude

  • Committed to learning and developing new skills

You will also have:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths

  • Basic IT skills, including familiarity with Google or similar systems

  • A strong understanding of the importance of confidentiality
