The role involves overseeing and supervising students taking examinations whilst ensuring that the guidelines and regulations for the integrity and security of the examination papers and procedures are followed at all times.

Previous experience of working with secondary school students would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be provided. Candidates should possess good interpersonal skills and have the ability to deal with situations calmly and firmly.

The successful candidates will need to be available for training on 27 April 2026 and the exam season for this academic year will be from May to the end of June.

Employment will be on a casual relief contract so work is not guaranteed and hours will vary throughout the exam period and the school year.

Northfleet School for Girls and all its personnel are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The appointment is subject to satisfactory references, medical clearance and an enhanced DBS check. For any candidate who is shortlisted, an online search will be conducted in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2024 statutory guidance.

We reserve the right to withdraw this advert before the published closing date should a suitable candidate be appointed before.
