We are seeking an inspiring and transformational senior leader to join OA-Tunbridge Wells as our Assistant Headteacher for English Literacy, Teaching & Learning. You will be an exceptional educator with recent, successful leadership experience and a proven ability to raise standards, develop colleagues and model outstanding teaching and learning.

You will bring deep understanding of behaviour management, inclusive practice and the needs of pupils with complex SEMH and SEND profiles. With strong analytical and strategic skills, you will use data intelligently to drive improvement, lead high-impact outreach work, and contribute to a culture where every student can thrive.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, resilient and committed to tackling disadvantage. You will excel at building positive relationships with pupils, families, colleagues and external partners, and will demonstrate the openness, empathy and professional integrity needed to lead in an alternative provision setting.
