Luton Primary School are seeking an energetic, enthusiastic and caring Midday Meal Supervisor to join our friendly and inclusive team. Do you have the ability to inspire, motivate and support pupils? If so, Luton Primary School could be for you!

About the Role

We are looking for someone reliable and committed to ensuring children have a safe, enjoyable and engaging lunchtime experience. You will work as part of a supportive team, helping pupils with their lunchtime routines and encouraging positive play and interaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Encourage and support children to play games and enjoy their lunchtime activities
  • Help set up the dining hall, including arranging tables
  • Monitor and record behaviour incidents
  • Supervise pupils while they eat, including cutting up food (if required) ensuring a calm and positive atmosphere
  • Provide basic first aid as and when required
  • Ensure all children return safely to their classrooms after lunch

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday, term time only
  • 11:15am – 1:30pm (additional hours may be available)
