Repton Manor Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Class Teacher with responsibility for leading Maths. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong classroom practitioner who is ready to develop their leadership skills and make a meaningful impact on teaching and learning across the school.

You will combine excellent class teaching with the strategic leadership of maths, ensuring high standards, strong pupil outcomes and a coherent, well-sequenced curriculum from EYFS to Year 6.

The Role

As Class Teacher with Maths Leader, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching that inspires, challenges and supports all pupils.

  • Lead the development, implementation and review of the maths curriculum across the school.

  • Promote consistency and high expectations in the teaching of fluency, reasoning, problem-solving and mathematical vocabulary.

  • Monitor standards in mathematics and use assessment information to drive improvement.

  • Model excellent practice and support colleagues through coaching and professional development.

  • Contribute to whole-school improvement, self-evaluation and inspection readiness.

  • Engage positively with parents to support maths learning at home.
