Rainham Mark Education Trust is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join us as our Trust IT Manager. In this pivotal role, you will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of all IT systems and services across the Trust. Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide an efficient, effective robust IT Technical Support Service to members of the Trust Academies community, across multiple sites.
  • Install, configure, manage and maintain all Trust servers, clients, peripherals, cloud-based services and applications.
  • Provide IT training and support, across the Trust, for staff and students in the use of hardware, software and cloud-based services.
  • The line management and supervision IT Support staff across Trust.
  • Liaise with 3rd party suppliers / contractors where necessary.

 Qualifications and Skills: 

  • Studied to a minimum standard of GCSE (grade A–C)* or equivalent in English and Mathematics.
  • University degree in Computing, or HND/HNC level, or equivalent professional/technical/vendor-specific qualifications.
  • Membership of an appropriate professional body such as BSC, ITIL, ACM, etc.
  • Further industry-standard professional certifications such as CompTIA, MSCE, MIE, City & Guilds (advantageous).
  • Experience of working within the education sector.
