About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and organised Estates and Facilities Assistant to join our Central Team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring our schools provide safe, well maintained learning environments.

Reporting to the Head of Estates and Facilities, you will provide administrative and operational support across estates, facilities, and health & safety. You will work closely with school site teams, contractors, and compliance partners to maintain accurate records, monitor statutory compliance, and support the delivery of planned maintenance and improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain Trust wide asset registers and compliance documentation
  • Support planned maintenance schedules, lifecycle works and capital programmes
  • Assist with procurement, contractor coordination and minor works scheduling
  • Monitor health & safety compliance, including audits, training and incident reporting
  • Provide practical support to school site teams and attend site manager meetings
  • Prepare reports, dashboards and materials for audits and meetings

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Organised and detail focused, with excellent record-keeping skills
  • Proactive and solution oriented, able to manage multiple priorities
  • A strong communicator with good IT skills (Microsoft Office 365)
  • Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • NEBOSH or IOSH Managing Safely qualification.
  • Experience supporting estates/facilities compliance across multi-site environments.
  • Knowledge of statutory compliance requirements (FRA, EICR, LOLER, L8, gas safety).
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
