Site Manager – Overview

 

We are looking for a proactive and reliable Site Manager to join our primary school team. This is a key role in ensuring our school is safe, secure, and welcoming for pupils, staff, and visitors. The Site Manager will oversee the day-to-day management of the premises, including building maintenance, health and safety compliance, and supporting the smooth running of school operations.

You will play an important part in creating a positive learning environment by keeping our facilities clean, well-maintained, and compliant with statutory requirements. The role involves working closely with school leadership, managing contractors, and responding to maintenance needs promptly and efficiently. This position also includes line management responsibilities for the cleaning and caretaking team.

We are one of the largest primary schools in Kent with over 840 children on roll, including a Pre-School that offers 30 hour provision.
