Repton Manor Primary School is a vibrant, nurturing and forward-thinking school within the Lightyear Federation. We are seeking a Temporary Part-Time Cover Teacher, to provide high-quality teaching and learning ensuring good outcomes for all. 

Located in the heart of Ashford, Repton Manor Primary is a modern, inclusive school where children are encouraged to believe in themselves, care for others, and take pride in their learning. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic teacher with recent experience of working in a primary school, to join our successful and supportive team. This role may be suitable for either an experienced teacher or a newly qualified teacher - including ECT’s. We welcome all applications from professionals who feel they have the necessary skills and abilities to fulfil the role.

About You

The successful candidate will:

  • Be punctual and well-organised
  • Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the National Curriuclum/ EYFS Framework
  • Be confident in using both formative and summative assessment to inform planning ensuring that learning meets the needs of all children 
  • Communicate well and be confident working alongside and managing others, working collaboorative as part of a team
  • Respect confidentiality and the potential sensitivities of working in a school
  • Have experience working in a primary or infant school
  • Be able to demonstrate in their application that they can fulfil the main duties of the job description and person specification as a minimum

Repton Manor Primary School is a mixed-gender foundation primary school for children aged 4 to 11, located at Repton Avenue, Ashford, Kent, TN23 3RX.
