We have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced school leader, with a track record of outstanding classroom practice, to join our leadership team.

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and forward-thinking individual, who will take the lead in developing our curriculum and embedding high quality teaching and learning.

Working closely with the Headteacher, you will play a pivotal role in leading the strategic direction of the school, ensuring every pupil, regardless of need, achieves their full potential. You will champion a culture of ambition, collaboration, and compassion, while fostering high-quality teaching and adaptive learning.

The successful candidate will:

· Be an experienced senior leader with a proven track record of impact in a primary setting.

· Be an outstanding classroom practitioner, who is able to inspire others.

· Show excellence in curriculum design, pedagogy, and assessment, ensuring all learners thrive.

· Be an inspirational communicator who models ambition, empathy, and integrity.

· Be dynamic and forward-thinking, able to co-ordinate and lead curriculum change and implementation,  recognising that a curriculum is constantly evolving.

· Be a confident communicator, able to lead and motivate colleagues with honesty, care and compassion.

· Have the ability to coach, develop, and empower others, building a reflective and high-performing team.

· Build effective relationships with stakeholders across the whole school community.

Information about the school

We are very proud of our wonderful school which was judged as good with outstanding features. Our most recent Ofsted inspection was in October 2022.

We have 15 classes including our maintained Nursery. A set of Core Values underpin all that we do which ensure high expectations of both learning and behaviour. They are; Equality, Responsibility, Respect, Resilience and Challenge. Our inclusive school is based on a large, well resourced site just outside Maidstone town centre. Our excellent facilities include a library and extensive outdoor learning areas.

We have recently achieved our National Nurturing Award Accreditation and also hold the OPAL Platinum Award.

Our school has a happy and caring ethos and is is full of well motivated children, supported by a hardworking and fully committed team of staff and governors.
