1 to Learning Support Assistant – Fixed Term until 8th July 2026

6 hours per week – St Michael's Term time plus INSET days (total 34 weeks pa)

 

 
We have an exciting opportunity to take on the role of a 1 to 1 Learning Support Assistant in a part-time capacity to support a named child in Reception (KS1). Experience and a natural affinity in working with children, especially those with SEND, preferably on a 1 to 1 basis, is desired and you will need to be an excellent team member, encouraging inclusion and development of skills to enable the child to feel seen and heard.
 
Ideally, the successful candidate will have a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
 
The post is fixed term until 8th July 2026, 3 days per week. Current working pattern is 9.30-11.30am Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
 
Starting salary is £3,072.30 per annum (FTE £26,991 per annum).
