Do you have a passion for Maths and a drive to inspire young minds? Maidstone and Malling Alternative Provision is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Maths or Science to join our exceptional team, where we aim to spark curiosity, ignite critical thinking, and equip students with the skills they need to thrive in an ever-evolving world.

Whether you’re an experienced teacher or a driven Early Career Teacher (ECT) eager to make your mark, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking academy that values innovation, creativity, and academic excellence.

As a Teacher of Maths or Science, you will play a vital role in equipping students with the knowledge and skills they need to thrive in today's rapidly evolving mathematical/science landscape. You'll lead dynamic and engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and foster analytical thinking.

At Maidstone and Malling Alternative Provision we pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. Our staff work closely together, sharing best practices and learning from one another, ensuring that everyone is able to develop and thrive in their careers. Whether you’re starting your teaching journey or looking for a new challenge, we will provide you with the ongoing professional development and support you need to grow.

The school is an Alternative curriculum school and supports a range of KS3 and KS4 pupils for short and long-term placements. The ideal candidate should have a passion for the subject and be willing to support a GCSE curriculum, nurturing small groups of pupils to achieve the best possible outcomes.

The ideal candidate will be able to teach and engage across the ability range for our SEN KS3 and KS4 students and a real interest in developing teaching and learning is also important. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher to join a school which is committed to providing high quality professional development opportunities.

If you're ready to shape the minds of future mathematicians/scientists and be part of a school that puts passion for learning at its core, we’d love to hear from you.

This is a full-time, permanent role offering MPS/UPS commensurate with experience & SEN Allowance.
