We are looking for an experienced Key Stage 2 or Key Stage 3 teacher to deliver maths and science to our Year 7 and 8 students.

Our ideal candidate will be an inspirational and enthusiastic teacher who has a passion for teaching and who works well as part of a small team.

If you are ambitious, talented, and keen to ensure students make progress – then this is the job for you!

This is an exciting opportunity to join our school. In return, we offer a stimulating, supportive, and rewarding working environment, where all staff are valued and have access to a range of excellent professional opportunities to support their progression.

Excellent on site facilities;

Excellent CPD programme;

Being part of a highly successful Trust;

Information about the school

The Royal Harbour Academy is proud to be part of the Coastal Academies Trust (https://www.coastalacademiestrust.co.uk/) a local multi-academy trust of three other secondary schools and a large primary school. The Royal Harbour Academy has two large sites located on the Kent coast, with a sunny climate and affordable housing, yet only 50 minutes by train from central London. We are a mixed, non-selective 11-18 foundation school of more than 900 students.

The school is arranged over the split site with Years 7 and 8 on our Newlands Lane premises and Year 9 along with Key Stages 4 and 5 at our Marlowe Way premises.

We are an International Baccalaureate Organisation World School and run International Baccalaureate programmes for our 6th Form and Key Stage 3 students. Our Lower Site broadly follows a primary school structure with students having fewer teachers and a strong focus on literacy and numeracy progression.

The school is making tremendous progress and it is an exciting time to join our team. Our most recent Ofsted inspection gave glowing praise about the school, judging behaviour, personal development and the 6th Form as good.
