About The Role

We’re looking for a caring and reliable Midday Meals Supervisor to join our team at Barnsole Primary School. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the wellbeing and development of our pupils during one of the most important parts of their day — lunchtime.

As a Midday Meals Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in creating a positive, safe and inclusive lunchtime experience by:

  • Supervising pupils in the dining hall and playground
  • Encouraging healthy eating and respectful behaviour
  • Supporting and promoting positive play and friendships
  • Building trust and positive relationships with pupils
  • Ensuring a safe, calm, and friendly environment for all

Who You Are

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Enjoys working with children and brings warmth, patience and energy to the role
  • Is calm and confident when managing behaviour or resolving minor conflicts
  • Is reliable, punctual, and committed to being a positive part of the school community
  • Has good communication skills and enjoys being part of a team
  • Understands the importance of inclusion and kindness in every interaction

No formal qualifications are required, but experience working with children or in a school environment is a bonus.
