We are recruiting an experienced and efficient part-time Clerk to the Governing Body.

To provide high-quality administrative and governance support to the Governing Body, ensuring efficient operation, compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, and the effective support and challenge of the school in line with the Scheme of Delegation.

Information about the school

We are a small mixed rural Independent school for children with additional needs (specific / general learning difficulties, speech and language difficulties, spectrum disorders, dyspraxia, anxiety etc). Pupils are age 5-11 years (Year 1 to Year 6) .

90% pupils have EHCPs. Some pupils are working below age expectations although many are achieving above expected academic levels but require support with their social communication skills.

We are fully committed to safeguarding our pupils.

Candidates will be required to follow safeguarding policies.

Successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS check, social media and other employment checks.
