The children and governors of our lovely school are looking for an excellent Primary School Teacher with the highest expectations for every child.

This post will provide maternity leave cover with a focus on EYFS and Key Stage 1, and would suit an experienced class teacher with a solid understanding of early years and KS1 practice and provision. Experience and knowledge around statutory assessments in EYFS and Year 1 is also required. There is a possibility of extension to cover further maternity leave, potentially until January 2027.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience and in-depth knowledge of EYFS and KS1 teaching.
  • Can use a wide range of creative teaching methods to motivate and inspire our children.
  • Brings energy, vision and talent to our school.
  • Sees each child as an individual and ensures they are active learners in every lesson.
  • Has strong and effective classroom management strategies.
  • Works effectively as part of a team both in the classroom and across the school.
  • Will contribute positively to the wider life of the school.
