Information about the school

We are a small mixed rural Independent school for children with additional needs (specific / general learning difficulties, speech and language difficulties, spectrum disorders, dyspraxia, anxiety etc). Pupils are age 5-11 years (Year 1 to Year 6) .

90% pupils have EHCPs. Some pupils are working below age expectations although many are achieving above expected academic levels but require support with their social communication skills. Some children have had previous negative school experiences and simply require extra nurturing and support.

Interventions are provided in speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, social and emotional skills, motor skills and literacy and numeracy booster groups in order to target pupils in their individual areas of need.

Most pupils are funded by Local Authorities including Bromley, Croydon, Bexley, Surrey and Kent.

We were inspected by Ofsted in October 2022 and achieved a Good grade. We always strive to improve our teaching and learning outcomes.

We have an excellent relationship with our parent community and a very active PTA offers fantastic support to staff and pupils.

We are fully committed to safeguarding our pupils.

Candidates will be required to follow safeguarding policies.

Successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS check, social media and other employment checks.
