Join Danecourt School as our Office Manager
Organise. Lead. Support – where great administration powers great education

Hours: 37 hours per week (8:30–4:30 Mon–Thurs; 8:30–4:00 Fri)
Contract: Permanent, 52 weeks per year (term-time only considered for the right candidate)

Are you an experienced Office Manager ready to take the next step in your career? With future development in the pipeline, we’re looking for a skilled and ambitious professional who can lead our busy office now — and grow into a wider role with greater responsibility over time.

About the Role

You will oversee all aspects of school administration, ensuring efficiency, professionalism, and excellent service. From managing systems, staff and processes to supporting leadership with key priorities, you’ll play a central role in keeping our school running smoothly.

Key duties include:

  • Leading and line managing the admin team

  • Overseeing office systems, attendance, and parent communications

  • Supporting HR, recruitment and compliance (including the SCR)

  • Managing the website and contributing to marketing

  • Ensuring clear communication with staff, families, and external partners

  • Providing high-quality admin support to the Headteacher and SLT

Who You Are

We’re seeking someone who is:

  • Experienced as an Office Manager (ideally in a school)

  • Skilled at leading people and driving improvements

  • Organised, proactive, and able to juggle a busy workload

  • A confident communicator with strong IT and written skills

  • Committed to safeguarding, compliance, and high standards of practice

Danecourt Special School is part of the Maritime Multi-Academy Trust, an innovative partnership of schools in Greenwich, Bexley, Kent and Medway . We are a special school catering for primary aged children who have special educational needs. The children who attend Danecourt have a wide breadth of needs including complex learning difficulties and autism.
