Advert

We are looking for an enthusiastic Caretaker to join our site team, who will be dedicated to providing a safe, and welcoming environment at our school.

The Caretaker will be responsible for:

  • Unlocking/locking the school.
  • Maintaining all areas of our school site both internally and externally including gardening, redecoration, small repairs
  • Liaising with contractors
  • Ensuring the outside areas are kept tidy
  • Other ad-hoc duties as required by the Headteacher, Business Manager, or Site Manager.

This post is for 20 hours per week and will usually be in the morning, however there may be times when the Caretaker is needed to work split shifts to close the school at the end of the day, so some flexibility is required. This position would suit someone who is local to the school.

We are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible, and as such reserve the right to close this advert early if we recruit the right candidate.
