Aylesford School are seeking to appoint a highly organised, proactive, and experienced Office Manager to lead our Admin and Reprographics teams at our welcoming non-selective secondary school in Kent.

This is a key role at the heart of our school, providing leadership and day-to-day management to ensure the smooth and effective operation of our administrative functions. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of successfully leading a team and will bring a positive, solution-focused approach to their work.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have previous experience in a team leadership or management role
  • Be highly organised and able to prioritise and delegate effectively
  • Be an excellent communicator, with strong interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate resilience, professionalism and discretion at all times
  • Take pride in delivering a high standard of service to students, staff, and families
  • Be confident in using IT systems (experience with school systems is desirable but not essential)

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the day-to-day operations of the Admin and Reprographics teams
  • Managing workflows and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and accurately
  • Supporting the Senior Leadership Team and HR Director with key administrative processes
  • Ensuring the school office is a welcoming and professional environment
  • Maintaining high standards of compliance and organisation across all admin systems
