We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and energetic person to support a KS2 child on a one to one basis. This role is part time working 9am till 12pm on a daily basis term time only. The successful candidate will work within and outside the child's class, supporting the child emotionally and academically. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the class teacher and SENDCO.

Candidates need to have a nurturing and resilient nature and be compassionate towards children who may find school life challenging, supporting them with effective strategies to be successful. The successful candidate needs to be able to communicate with children, remain calm and composed whilst responding to a child's needs with empathy and understanding. 

We would ideally like the successful candidate to have experience of working with children with SEND. The successful candidate needs to be skilled and passionate about working with children with SEND and have the desire to make an impact on children's success.

This position is for an immediate start from 1 September 2025 and following application candidates may be called for interview in July or August. Applications will be monitored and if a suitable candidate is found the advert may be closed early.
