Would you like to join a fantastic, dedicated team of Teaching Assistants at Otford Primary school?  We are seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join us. Previous experience of being a TA or working in a pre-school not necessarily required, but an advantage.

The roles require flexibility - sometimes focusing on support for one child, other times small groups or more general. It will entail supporting learners both in and out of class. 
 
Experience in supporting children with Social Emotional and Mental Health and the associated behaviours is desirable. We would also be looking to appoint an additional TA who would be able to support a child in EYFS with language development.  
 
These roles are linked directly to children with a level of SEND as highlighted above. We would be looking for someone who is both skilled and passionate about working with children and has a desire to make a difference to the lives of children.
 
Grade C+/4 in both Maths and English is a minimum requirement.  The successful applicant will be subject to a fully enhanced DBS check.

Otford Primary School is located near Sevenoaks, based in the historic village of Otford. We are transitioning to becoming a one-form entry school, drawing from the village and immediate surrounding areas with committed staff and parents. We like to maximise links within the village and local community.

The School has undergone buildings and facilities development in the last few years. A large sports field and outdoor spaces are used to maximise physical activity and learning outside the classroom as well as weekly Forest School sessions off site.
