We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and proactive EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and collaborative team, across our nursery and reception classes.  You will encourage our children to be unique, foster their curiosity and support them on a journey of discovery enabling them to be inquisitive and confident learners.

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant you’ll immerse yourself with our stimulating Early Years Foundation Stage and engage in learning through creative play.  The ability to sing in tune is not necessary; however, the ability to sing out of tune in front of children is essential. 

You will be extremely well supported, working alongside a committed team of practitioners and teachers.  It’s not necessarily the length of your experience as an EYFS Teaching Assistant that were most interested in, it’s your passion and commitment to our mission, ensuring every child, whatever their background, receives a high quality education. 

This is a fixed term contract until 20/07/2026

The ideal EYFS Teaching Assistant will be someone who is:

* A great communicator and team player with excellent interpersonal skills

* Able to observe and plan activities for children in a small group

Information about the school

Our Primary school was established as an Academy by The Kemnal Academies Trust in 2012. We are one of a number of Primary schools supported by TKAT across the South East of England.

Working within a Multi-Academy Trust, we are in a privileged position to collaborate with other schools and receive the first-hand experience of immediate and significant teacher training which enables us to be innovative in our approaches to 21st-century teaching practice.
