We are seeking a HLTA to work Monday to Friday 8:15am, to 3.45pm, 32.5 hours a week, term time plus INSETS and twilights, 39 weeks a year.  This post is a permanent post.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed HLTA who is:

  • passionate about securing positive outcomes for children
  • highly motivated, organised and flexible in the way you work to best meet children’s needs
  • an effective communicator, highly skilled in building positive relationships with children, parents/carers, and professionals
  • able to utilise planning and resources when covering a class
  • is committed to working as part of a team 

The successful candidate will have:

  • GCSE English and Maths
  • HLTA accreditation (desirable)
  • Previous experience of working effectively within a school setting

Information about the school

St John’s is a four-form entry primary academy located in Gravesend, serving the Parish of St John the Evangelist and the local area. It is part of the Kent Catholic Schools Partnership (KCSP), a multi-academy trust established by the Archdiocese of Southwark for Catholic education across Kent which currently comprises of 30 academies (25 primary and 5 secondary).
