Chilmington Green Primary School has launched their ‘Snack Shack’ as part of national breakfast club initiative. As one of a select number of schools across the country chosen to trial the initiative ahead of its national rollout in 2026, Chilmington Green is now offering a free, nutritious morning snack to every pupil from 8:15am each day, the aim being to ensure that every child has access to a free, healthy breakfast.

We need someone to

  • prepare the Snack Shack ahead of the childrens’ arrival, 
  • serve them a variety of nutritional tasty snacks, 
  • and prepare the Shack for the following day.

We are offering the opportunity to be a part of this team, working;

  • 7.45 – 8.15am Monday to Friday
  • Term time only
  • KR3 approx £2691 pro rata

Information about the school

Location: Ashford, Kent UK Chilmington Green Primary School is a growing primary school on the new Chilmington Green development in Ashford. Opening in 2018 in a temporary building before moving into a state-of-the-art building in 2021. Pupil numbers are growing rapidly, currently standing at 260 pupils. We would encourage any applicant to visit the school for a tour. It is operating at one form entry in Key Stage One and Lower Key Stage Two and will eventually allow two forms of entry, as 60 Year R pupils join the school each year. The school nursery has a dedicated space for children aged 2 - 4 years old. The school also includes a Specialist Resource Provision for up to 14 pupils who have an Education Health Care Plan for Autistic Spectrum Disorder.
