We are looking for an enthusiastic Play Leader to join our Midday Meals team, looking after pupils at lunchtime and setting up and leading games and sports activities. If you enjoy working and talking with children and are interested please download the attached documents for more specific details about the role.

This is a part-time post from 12:15 – 13:45, for five days a week.

The role is for term time only and the successful applicant will be paid on Kent Scheme B (£25,126 pro rata). The role will begin from 4th September 2025.

The closing date for applications is Friday 20th June at 09:00.  Applications should be made via Kent Teach. Interviews will be held on Tuesday 1st July. Before applying, please ensure you are available to attend interview on this day, should you be selected.

Sandling is a popular, high achieving, 2 form entry primary school in the north of Maidstone.

The school is well resourced with many facilities including: a library, computing suite and extensive grounds with a wildlife and outdoor learning area. We offer a wide variety of clubs for children to enrich their learning.

We had a successful two day OFSTED inspection in May 2025 with a grading of 'good' in all areas.

With easy access from the M20, and being situated less than 3 miles from Maidstone centre, the school is easily accessible by road.
