Information about the school

Lamberhurst St Mary’s Primary School is a one form entry village school with strong links to the parish church and local community. It is housed in an architect designed building with beautiful rural surroundings and great outdoor areas. The school is 1 form entry with 7 classes from Year R to Year 6.

In January 2006, the pupils and staff of Lamberhurst St Mary’s Church of England Primary School moved into the stunning state of the art modern building that the school now occupies at the top of Pearse Place. It had taken many years work by The Governing Body to secure the planning permission and the ‘go ahead’ to build the new school on land which had been left specifically for a new School. Recently the new school was extended, adding a second floor and some additional classrooms.

We are a friendly and experienced staff team with a TA dedicated to every class. The school is very well resourced and we offer high standards in education, have wonderful children who have a love of learning, a professional staff team and strong partnerships with parents.
