Due to increasing demand for specialist primary provision and exciting internal developments, Fortis Trust is seeking a passionate and skilled Primary Teacher to join the vibrant EYFS & Primary team at Bradfields Academy.

Working with students who have a diagnosis of Autism and associated complex needs, the successful candidate will bring a love of teaching, a commitment to inclusive practice, and the ability to inspire children with diverse learning profiles. You’ll be responsible for delivering creative, differentiated, and aspirational learning experiences, within the Primary Community. Experience at all levels of Primary will be considered as there will be certain flexibilities within the timetable enabling us to accommodate the successful candidate.

Bradfields has recently introduced the IASEND curriculum and assessment framework, supporting personalised learning journeys for each child. You will join at an exciting time as the academy embarks on a significant building expansion, with our Primary provision preparing to move into a purpose-built facility.

  • A clear understanding of effective teaching for children with SEND

  • An ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families

  • An openness to training in alternative communication systems and sensory integration approaches
