Goldwyn School is seeking a passionate and strategic leader to join our senior leadership team as Assistant Principal for Inclusion/SENCO. About the Role

As Assistant Principal for Inclusion, you will lead the strategic development and operational delivery of our SEN and Inclusion provision across all sites. You will work closely with the Principal and senior leadership team to ensure that every student receives the support they need to thrive - academically, socially, and emotionally.  You will be supported by a strong inclusion team based at each of our school sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of the school’s SEN and Inclusion policies.
  • Oversee and monitor the quality of provision for students with additional needs.
  • Coordinate and support Inclusion Leads across all centres.
  • Manage annual reviews, access arrangements, and transitions beyond Key Stage 5.
  • Provide professional guidance and training to staff and work collaboratively with parents, external agencies and governors
  • Lead on inclusion data, analyse data to inform strategic planning and ensure effective use of resources.
  • Contribute to the school’s self-evaluation and improvement planning.
  • Promote inclusive practice and staff development through coaching, mentoring, and training.

  • A strategic thinker with excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • A collaborative leader who can inspire and support colleagues across multiple sites.
  • A professional who is confident in using data systems (e.g., Arbor) to drive improvement.
  • Someone who is committed to the wellbeing and success of every student.
  • Experience of managing a team and experience at senior management level in a school setting.
