Riverview Infant and Junior School are looking to recruit enthusiastic and committed Higher Level Teaching Assistants to join our talented, supportive team!

The hours will be 8.30am – 3.45pm, Monday to Friday, 38 weeks per year, term time only. The starting salary is Kent Range 7, currently £26.515 FTE, pro-rata to an actual salary of £19,541.87 based on 31.25 hours per week, 38 weeks

We are looking for a highly motivated HLTA who is a flexible, positive, enthusiastic person, who loves working with children with the ability to contribute to our school's community and vision, helping children to achieve their potential.

We are looking for:

  • recent experience in the role of a TA or HLTA
  • strong Literacy and Numeracy skills to enable you to have a positive impact on children’s progress
  • high expectations and is passionate about encouraging the best from every pupil, enabling every child to fulfil their potential
  • the ability to contribute to, and work as part of a team
  • excellent communication skills and a flexible attitude
  • effective time management and an ability to work on own initiative
  • good IT skills
  • Someone who can lead the class across multiple year groups.
  • We are ideally looking for two colleagues to join the HLTA team. One colleague will be mainly based in Years R, 1 and 2 and the other in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6.
